This position reports to the Manager of Patient Access. The primary focus is to provide meaningful quality feedback to Patient Access staff by tracking and trending errors found on Quality Review, DNFB, and Hospital Billing/Coding work queues. The QA Coordinator is responsible for researching and auditing accounts for Accuracy, Chart Integrity, Billing and educational purposes. High School diploma or equivalent. Current American Heart – HeartSaver or Basic Life Support (BLS) card.
Clerical training that includes: typing, 10 key calculator, and computer knowledge.
Must have minimum of one year experience in a hospital setting.
