  • Overview

    Must have excellent customer service and problem solving skills.  Performs a range of basic office support activities for various administrative personnel.  The secretarial duties may include typing, composing correspondence, scheduling meetings, maintaining a calendar for departments, answering and screening incoming calls, maintaining department records, transcription of staff meetings, filing, among other duties as designated. 

    Qualifications

    High School diploma or equivalent.  Current American Heart – HeartSaver or Basic Life Support (BLS) card. At least two years related Medical secretarial experience required.  Displays working knowledge of word processing programs and spreadsheets (i.e., MS Word, MS Excel).  Must accurately operate 10-key calculator.  Excellent customer service and problem solving skills.  Maintains strict confidentiality of sensitive information. A high degree of concentration required.  Experience in Medical Office setting preferred.
